Cocke Co. Partnership Presenting Google Classes For Local Businesses

Walters State Community College and US Small Business Administration or SBA are partnering with the Cocke County Partnership’s Chamber of Commerce to help out area businesses by presenting two new classes. The classes are designed to assist in local business in getting their businesses on Google Search and Maps. The first session is set for Monday July 18th from 1-2 p.m. with the the second class happening from 3-4 p.m. The first workshop will teach business owners how to create or claim your Business Profile on Google, how to manage your business information across Google Search and Maps and how to connect with potential customers. The second class that day will share best practices for improving your website’s visibility and how to create a free Google business profile. Grow with Google speaker Dave Delaney will be presenting the classes. The classes are free to area businesses and will be held at the Tanner Building on Mulberry Street in Newport.
