Gas prices continue to stay low…if you want to call $3.29 a gallon low. In Cocke County that’s about the average price for a gallon of regular. Sevier County joins Cocke County in having the lowest prices around the area. Greene County is a little higher at $3.39. Hamblen and Jefferson County though are about 40 cents higher than Cocke County at $3.69 and $3.59 a gallon respectively.

The average price in the state of Tennessee currently sits at $3.47, which is the 4th lowest in the nation. According to the AAA, Arkansas has the lowest prices in the country for gas with an average price of $3.43 for regular. The national average has dipped below $4, sitting now at $3.93. The highest gas prices in the nation are in Hawaii at $5.34…California right behind at $5.33.
