Del Rio Man Fires Shots At Neighbor
A Del Rio man was arrested over the weekend after he fired shots at his neighbor. Cocke County deputies responded to a shots fired call on Hwy 25/70 in Del Rio. Thomas Seymour told a deputy that his neighbor, Bryan Shubert came out of his home and threw firecrackers into Seymour’s yard, because Seymour’s dog was barking. That led to an argument between the two men. According to Thomas Seymour, that is when Bryan Shubert went back into his home and retrieved an AR-15 assault rifle. He then fires three shots into the ground near Seymour. Deputies found casings and three bullet holes in the ground. Deputies located the AR-15 on a gun safe inside Shubert’s home with eight rounds in the magazine. Shubert was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
