State Unemployment Rate Dips For April
The unemployment rate in the state of Tennessee dipped just a little in April. According to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the unemployment rate for April was 3.3%. That is down from 3.4% in March. There were 2,000 non farm jobs added during the month of April in the state of Tennessee. Individual county unemployment numbers will be released late next week.
The national unemployment rate basically mirrored Tennessee…dropping from 3.5% in March to 3.4% in April.
