Man Wanted In Gatlinburg Murder Arrested

A man wanted for a murder in Gatlinburg has been arrested…in Houston. The TBI announced on Thursday, that a man on their Most Wanted List is now in custody. 22-year-old Rosmel Rubi was found in Houston, Texas. He is wanted in connection with the murder of a man in Gatlinburg last September. You might recall, on September 7, 2022, police in Gatlinburg were called to a home on Reagan Drive. The investigation afterward led to an arrest warrant being issued for Rosmel Rubi. That set off what turned into an 8-month hunt for the suspect.
