Haywood County NC Man Sentenced
A Haywood County NC man has been sentenced to nearly three years in prison for possession of machine guns. During a traffic stop last year, 25 year old Jacob McClure was found to be in possession of 97 illegal “Glock Switch” conversion devises used to convert firearms into machine guns.

Court records show that back in august of 2021 in Tennessee, McClure was found to e in possession of several firearms, including converted machine guns, an unregistered silencer, narcotics and more than $10,000 in cash that was seized from his vehicle and rental cabin. On Thursday, a federal judge in Asheville sentenced McClure to 33 months in prison for his latest offenses. He is currently in federal custody.
