Dobbs Named UT Board Of Alumni President
Former UT and Tennessee Titans quarterback, Joshua Dobbs has been named The University of Tennessee Alumni Board of Directors president. The alumni board of directors made that announcement on Wednesday. Dobbs will serve in the capacity as board president for the 2023-24 year. Dobbs graduated from Tennessee in 2017 with a degree in aerospace engineering. Dobbs left Tennessee holding the records for career rushing yards by a QB and career rushing touchdowns by a QB. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 4th round of the 2017 drraft and has also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, and Detroit Lions. Last year the Titans signed Dobbs late in the year after Ryan Tannehill was injured. Dobbs made his first NFL start last year with the Titans. He was allowed to depart as a free agent this year.
