Three Arrested For Trespass On Padlocked Properties
You might recall earlier this year, the Cocke County Sheriff’s office with assistance from the Newport Police Department , the Drug Enforcement Agency and the joint SWAT team from Jefferson County, shut down three drug houses in the county. The raid in February was called “Operation Triple Threat”. The Sheriff’s office closed all three houses and padlocked them posting notices on all three that anyone trespassing onto any of those properties would be arrested. A tip from a concerned citizen last week resulted in the arrest of four people who were at the padlocked house on Chase Road. One of those people was 40 year old Becky Sue Ball who admitted to dropping three people off at the house. Inside her vehicle officers found around 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine, five grams of suspected marijuana, plus digital scales and syringes. Inside the home were the three other individuals; 45 year old Wesley Allen Hall; 26 year old Joshua Len Moore and 42 year old Jamie Lynn Webb. All were charged with criminal trespass. Other charges filed included burglary and possession of illegal narcotics.
