Victim’s Tree Of Remembrance Ceremony Set For December 1
A holiday season tradition continues this year as District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn is hosting the 14th annual Victim’s Tree of Remembrance on December 1. The ceremony is set to be held at 5:30 that evening at the Sevier County Courthouse in downtown Sevierville. You can bring an ornament you have either bought or made and hang it on the Remembrance Tree in memory of the victim of a violent crime.
Law Enforcement agencies from across the 4th Judicial District are invited to attend the event. Holston’s Restaurant will be catering the meal that evening. Check-in is set for between 5pm & 5:30pm at which time the ceremony will begin. After the event is over, the Tree of Remembrance will remain on display in the foyer of the Sevier County Courthouse throughout the holiday season.
