Fatal Fire In Greene County Being Investigated
Investigators in Greene County are looking into the cause of a fatal fire Tuesday night. First responders were called to a house fire at the trailer on Lobo Loop around 6:15 pm Tuesday. Sheriff’s deputies were told by a neighbor that someone could still be inside the burning structure. Firefighters made entry into the home and discovered a deceased male and deceased dog inside. The deceased male has been identified as 31-year-old William Arrowood, who was a resident of that home. His body has been sent to the William L. Jenkins Forensic Center in Johnson city for an autopsy. The GCSD’s Criminal Investigation Division and Fire Investigation Units, as well as the Fire Investigation Division from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, have been called in to investigate the origin of that fatal fire.
