Accidents On Cosby Hwy

Two accidents on Wednesdsay on Cosby Hwy….the first happend when a vehicle driven by Patricia Buckner pulled out of the Hardees parking lot directly into the path of a vehicle driven by Cassie Ball. Her vehicle struck the driver’s side of Buckner’s car near the rear end. Both women refused EMS transport.

Also a semi truck caused damage this week to a utility pole at the Aqua Jet car wash. According to a witness a red semi truck pulled into the parking and struck the pole and also did damage to metal parking lot light which was completely knocked over. The driver, Alan Arteaga was driving a truck for Smoky Mountain Family Farms and admitted to doing the damage and was trying to find a place to turn around when police pulled him over. No word on whether he was ticketed.
