Anakeesta Thanks Locals
Anakeesta in Gatlinburg is saying thanks to East Tennessee by holding Local Appreciation Days. Monday, May 8 through Sunday, May 14, the park will be offering $5 admission to residents and workers in Cocke, Sevier Counties, Jefferson & Blount counties. Local Appreciation Days coincide with the Anakeesta Blooms and Tunes spring celebration. Right now the popular attraction is featuring spring-themed art, live music, spring-inspired cocktails and menus plus thousands of flowers and plants in bloom at Vista Gardens. Guests must show either a Tennessee Photo I.D. with a current address or show a current photo I.D. along with a paystub from Blount, Cocke, Jefferson or Sevier counties dated within the last 30 days to be able to get in for that $5 admission. Part of the proceeds from the Local Appreciation Day sales at Anakeesta will benefit Friends of the Smokies.
