And The Winner Is…Blue Plate #1

And we have a winner…Tennessee’s new license plate is blue. Governor Bill Lee announced the winner of the state license plate contest. Residents were given 4 different variations to vote on. The winner is a blue plate with a silhouette of the state in the upper middle. The 3 star logo, depicting Tennessee’s three regions, west, middle and east Tennessee…is in the center of the plate with the words “In God We Trust” on top of that logo as an option. Governor Lee said that more than 300,000 Tennesseans cast their votes on the plate designs…and the winning plate garnered 42% of that vote tally. Those plates will be available starting January 3rd.
