Another Baby Formula Recall
Here we go again. A baby formula manufacturer is recalling 145,000 cans of its product. The company Reckitt is voluntarily recalling some of its infant formula after a factory tested positive for the same bacteria that caused the nationwide formula recall and shortage last year. That recall led to empty store shelves. Experts say that is not expected to happen this time. However, two batches of ProSobee 12.9 oz Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula may have come into contact with the bacteria, so therefore the recall. Those bottles of formula were manufactured between August 2022 and September 2022. So far no illnesses have been reported. The batches in question can be identified by the number on the bottom of the can. Recalled product batches are ZL2HZF and ZL2HZZ, both with a UPC Code of 300871214415, and a “Use By Date” of “March 1, 2024.” If you have any of that formula, you should take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
