Vols Drop Second In A Row
Things are continuing to go sideways for the Tennessee Vols men’s basketball team. Just three weeks after being ranked #2 in the nation, Tennessee has dropped out of the top 10 and last night dropped their second in a row…and 4th out of their last five. In fact, since February 1st, the Vols have a record of 2-5. This after they lost to 25th ranked Texas A&M last night. The Vols actually were off to a 9 point lead in the first half, but then got careless with the ball and allowed the Aggies to get back in it…the game was tied at 31 at the half. Texas A&M would lead most of the second half and Tennessee falls 68-63. Wade Taylor of Texas A&M scorched the Vols for 25 points as he led all scorers. Tennessee is now 9-6 in SEC play. They will try to put things back together when South Carolina comes to Knoxville on Saturday.
