Buc-ee’s To Open In May

We now have an idea when Buc-ee’s will be opening at exit 407 in Sevier County. Buc-ee’s officials announced on Wednesday that while they do not have a definitive opening date, Buc-ee’s will be opening up in May. In the meantime, they have a lot of staff to hire. Numerous positions are posted online and they include bookkeeper, assistant gift/merchandise manager, general manager, assistant general manager, deli/food service manager, cleaning and maintenance manager, human resource representative, and car wash manager. Some of the positions require the new hire to train in either Georgia, Texas or Alabama for 6 months. Most of the frontline positions will start out at $16 an hour. Some of the managerial positions pay $100,000 a year. Buc-ees will be hosting an invitation-only mass hiring event for the new Kodak location…that will be April 11-13.
