Burned Body Found In Hawkins County

Hawkins County police are investigating the discovery of a burned body. Late Monday morning, the Hawkins County Sheriff’s office received a call about what appeared to be burned human remains on the side of a road in Mooresburg. Deputies responded to the scene and found the remains of a male victim that had been burned. The TBI has been called in to assist in what sheriff Ronnie Lawson calls an “intense” investigation. No other information is being released at this time.
