Cocke County Man Attacks Woman With Walking Stick

A 69 year old Cocke County man is in jail after he assualted his ex-girlfriend with a walking stick. The victim, 36 year old Brooke Hall told the Cocke County Sheriff’s office that she had been staying for a few days with Presnell. She stated the two got into an argument which saw Presnell get irate and he grabbed a large walking stick and repeatedly struck her over the head and on both legs. That attack left Hall with bruises upon her body and an approximate two inch laceration above her left eye. Presnell was asked for his version of events, but he refused to speak with law enforcement. He was then placed under arrest for Aggravated Domestic Assault.
