Cocke County Sheriff’s Office Calls In TBI For Help In Case

The Cocke County sheriff’s office has called in the TBI to help investigate what appears to be a series of dog attacks in the Jimtown Road area. Back in early April there was an attack that resulted in the death of a man named Tony Ahrens. A similar attack happened on Monday July 12th. That victim passed away last night. The sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help with any information that will assist in this investigation. Tipsters can remain anonymous. If you have information, call 623-6004.
