Cosby Man Arrested

A Cosby man was arrested early this morning after threatening to kill his father. David Carpenter of Cosby called police shortly after midnight this morning stating that he and his 18 year old son Bryan Carpenter had gotten into an argument. That argument became heated and the young Carpenter then attempted to strike his father with a metal pole, then ran into the roadway where he brandished a knife and threatened to kill him. Deputy Zach McGourick found Bryan Carpenter trying to hide from law enforcement behind some farm equipment. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with aggravated assault.
