Cosby Woman Reporting Missing Handgun

A woman arrested for domestic assault is now reporting to police that her handgun is now missing. Misty Rodriguez was arrested over the weekend after she allegedley hit a man…R.B. Toby…in the mouth with a handgun. Rodriguez says that when she got back to her residence on Tobes Creek Road, that handgun…a 9mm SKKY semi-automatic pistol…was missing. Rodriguez told the Cocke County Sheriff’s office that besides R.B. Toby, who was also arrested, there were other people in that home at the time. The sheriff’s office says when they responded to that home for the assault call over the weekend, they searched that residence and did not find a gun.
