Covid Restrictions Lifted For Dollywood’s 2022 Season

Hard to believe, but the opening of Dollywood for the 2022 season is just 2 weeks away. Dollywood’s official opening date is Saturday, March 12th. Dollywood’s Pete Owens says the park is doubling its popular Flower and Food festival to open the season. He says there will be more flowers, more food and more entertainment for the season opening festival. Many other changes are in store. One of the biggest and one that will be very popular is the removal of all Covid-19 restrictions for the 2022 season. Dollywood officials say they have also replaced the metal detectors that have greeted visitors in the past with new security features.

Dolly herself will be making more appearances at the park this year to visit with guests. Dolly’s first appearance will be on Friday March 11th when the park opens to season pass holders only for the day.
