Driver Evades Police

A man was arrested Friday night after trying to evade police. Dispatch notified officers about a rolling domestic disturbance in a silver Chevy Malibu, headed eastbound on west Highway 25/70. The vehicle was spotted but refused to pull over. The vehicle finally pulled over in front of Newport Pawn. The front seat passenger told police that the driver, 54 year old David Santiago, ho no intentions of pulling over. so, the passenger said he pulled the emergency brake on the car to force it to a stop. Santiago was arrested for evading arrest, the passengers in the vehicle were released.
