Flu Shots – Medicare Open Enrollment Counseling At Tanner Building

Health experts are expecting a bad flu season this winter, especially for the very young and the elderly. Getting a flu shot is a good way to help protect you from the flu. Tomorrow morning there will be a free flu clinic at the Tanner Building in Newport. Free flu shots will be administered from 9am-noon Thursday. While flu season is getting going, it is also Medicare Open Enrollment. Free Medicare Counseling will be available through the Cocke County Office on Aging. Representatives will be on hand at the Tanner Building from 9am-4pm on Thursday.
