Get Ready For Buc-ee’s
The Beaver has a date with East Tennessee. Buc-ee’s announced on Monday that they will open their new location on I-40 in Sevier County on June 26th. When Buc-ee’s opens at exit 407 in Kodak, it will be the largest convenience store in the world. The 74,000 square foot facility will be home to 120 gas pumps, a 250 foot car wash and of course, the cleanest restrooms around. Groundbreaking for the new Buc-ee’s took place in September of 2021 and it is the first of many new attractions that are comning to the 407 exit. It’s part of what the Eastern Band of the Cherokee call “Exit 407: Gateway To Adventure”.
This is the second Buc-ee’s location in Tennessee, the first opened last July in Crossville. A third Tennessee Buc-ee’s is planned to be built in Murfreesboro.
