“God Bless The USA” Bibles Hits A Snag

Well, that Lee Greenwood custom bible we have told you about has hit a snag. The country singer has joined forces with Elite Source Pro to produce a custom bible that includes the holy bible but contains this country’s founding documents and the lyrics to “God Bless The USA” in the back. However, the company that was supposed to manufacture and bind the “God Bless The USA” bibles…HarperCollins Christian Publishing has now backed out after receiving backlash in the form of an online petition calling the project a “toxic mix”…that petition drew 900 signatures.

Hugh Kirkpatrick who leads the company behind the custom bible says they are working with a new manufacture to produce the bibles but he is not revealing who that is….he does say that instead of using the New International version of the bible…they will be using the King James version.
