Greene County Man Found Dead In House Fire

Late Wednesday afternoon Greene County firefighters responded to a fire in the Limestone area. Firefighters from several fire departments including Limestone, Nolichuckey and Tusculum responded to a home on fire. Fire crews quickly got that fire under control. Inside that home, crews found the body of 67 year old James Catchings. The TBI and the Greene County fire/arson investigator are now investigating the cause of that blaze. The body of James Catchings has been sent to the William L. Jenkins Forensic Center in Johnson City.
