Greeneville Woman Arrested For Drugs In Cocke County
A Greene County woman driving over the speed limit is now facing drug charges in Cocke County. 44 year old Vivian Solomon of Greeneville was caught by a Cocke County Deputy on Hwy 321 near Parrottsville going 78mph in a 55mph zone. Solomon was found to be driving on a suspended license. New Parrottsville Police Chief Rodney Hazelwood, who was assisting in the traffic stop, observed Ms. Solomon attempting to hide a loaded syringe in the passenger seat. A search of the vehicle was done and a metal container in the passenger rear seat pocket contained small bags of a substance suspected to be Heroin. The total amount of the heroin weighed 32 grams. Solomon is now charged with possession of schedule I narcotics.
