Hamblen County Deputy Suffers House Fire

A Hamblen County deputy and his family are safe, after a fire damaged their home Wednesday night. Deputy Donnie Davis, his wife and son all escaped injury, but the fire severely damaged their home. The family lost many of their belongings. The Hamblen County Sheriff’s office says they will be working with the Fraternal Order of Police to assist Deputy Davis and his family. They say the community is also helping the family by donating items. A go fund me page has also been started to help the family.
