Last Video Store In The Area Says Goodbye

Remember when video stores were on just about every block? Times have changed and video stores have pretty much become a thing of the past due to downloads and streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video. Customers don’t have to leave the comfort of their homes or even their chairs to buy or rent a movie. Video stores though have paid the price for the change. Another is about to head into the dustbin of history. Popcorn Video in Greeneville is the last video rental store in this area…but not after this month. They have announced they are currently open for returns, but will be closing their doors before the end of the month. The once popular video store has been in business on east Andrew Johnson Highway in Greeneville for 40 years
