Local Author Has Book Signing Event This Weekend

The public is invited to a book signing event with Newport resident and author, Susan McMahan this weekend. Susan will be signing copies of her new book “Christmas In Heaven” this Sunday, December 5th at the First Baptist Church in Newport from 2 till 4. “Christmas In Heaven” tells the story about a woman angry with God over the death of her brother in an automobile accident. But one Christmas Eve attends church at the bequest of her mother…and wakes up Christmas morning to an incredible surprise. The inspiring book was written by Susan McMahan who graduated from Carson Newman University and taught elementary school. She is the owner of Newport Dance and Cheer Academy.
