Morristown Teen Hit By Car

A Morristown Teen-Ager was hit by a car yesterday. Police say that a 72 year old man driving a Mitubishi Outlander was driving on Lincoln Ave. when a 16 year old girl ran out into the road. The man said he attempted to stop, but was unable to do so and his vehicle struck the teen. The girl was treated on scene by EMS and then transported to the Morristown Hamblen Hospital. Police say the 16 year old girl was not in a crosswalk…no charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
