NATIONAL POLICE WEEK

The Cocke County Sheriff’s office is asking for your help in locating a couple wood thieves. Two people were caught on camera at a site loading up lumber that did not belong to them. The sheriff’s office is looking to identify the pair. The pictures are on the Cocke County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page. If you know these people, please call the Cocke County Sheriff’s office with that information.

Also the sheriff’s office reminds you that this week is National Police Week…honoring those who gave their lives in the line of duty. 394 officers lost their lives in 2020 and their names will be added to the Anational Law Enforcement Memorial Wall in Washington DC this Thursday evening. There will be a virtual candlelight vigil Thursday night at 8pm that will be livestreamed on youtube at www.youtube.com/user/TheNLEOMF.
