Newport Street Dept. Closed Tuesday For The 4th Of July

A reminder for you, The City of Newport Street Department will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th to recogzine Independence Day. That means no trash pickup on Tuesday…this also applies to the Newport Convenience Center as well. The Street Department, Recycling Center and Newport Convenience Center will all reopen on Wednesday, July 5. Garbage and Recycling that would have been collected on Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, July 5, along with normal Wednesday collection. All Household Trash and Recycling must be out to your pickup location by 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning for pickup.
