One Arrested For May Robbery In Dandridge

Jefferson County Sheriff’s investigators have made an arrest in the armed robbery of a convenient store gas station that happened back in May. 26 year old Jevaan M. Smith of Louisville, Kentucky is now in custody for his part in committing an armed robbery at the Marathon station on Hwy 139 in Dandridge. Smith was extradited back to Jefferson County and is currently being held on a $75,000 bond. He is charged with Aggravated Robbery. Investigators say they are working hard to identify Smith’s other two accomplices. They are believed to be in the Louisville, Kentucky area as well.
