Skeletal Remains Identified

Skeletal remains that were found last month by hunters in Sevier County have now been positively identified as a man missing for 16 months. 25 year old Dylan LaFollette had last been seen in September of 2021. The Knox County Forensics lab has confirmed that the remains found in a wooded area near Seymour are those of LaFollette. Multiple searches had been done in that area when LaFollette was reported as missing but he was not found, His remains were found y hunters in December. Investigators say they are investigating LaFollette’s death but at this point, foul play is not suspected.
