South Carolina Man Arrested For DUI

Early Saturday morning, a gold Chevrolet Tahoe was spotted on Wilson Springs road travelling at 70 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. Deputy Zach Mc Gourick attempted to make a traffic stop…but the vehicle increased to a high rate of speed and turned left onto Cosby Highway running the stop sign. The driver continued South bound on Cosby Highway reaching speeds of up to 130 miles per hour, crossed the center line several times completely into the oncoming lane, and ran off of the road once. The driver did slow down to around 25 miles per hour for several miles before finally pulling over just past Jones Cove Road. The driver was 31 year old Asheton Henderson of Easley, SC. He was taken into custody charged with DUI, evading arrest and multiple other charges.
