Stolen Vehicle Recovered and 2 Arrested

Wednesday evening Cocke County deputies responded to Cosby Hwy near exit 435 about a stolen vehicle. Deputies spotted the blue Ford Explorer matching the description given. The owner of the Ford Explorer pulled in behind police and affirmed that it was her vehicle stolen out of her driveway 3 hours earlier. Michelle Jones stated that two men had stolen her vehicle in order to “get their fix”. Inside the stolen vehicle deputies found 51 year old Thomas McReynolds and 62 year old Charles Jones. A search of the vehicle confirmed drug paraphernalia was present…deputies found several syringes and cut straws (both common with illegal drug use), in the front driver side door and passenger floorboard. Both men were arrested for theft over $1,000 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
