Triple Murder Suspect Arrives Back In NC From Sevier County
Devan Loving is now back in North Carolina. Loving is the 28 year old man charged in the killing of three people near Asheville, NC. On May 7, the three bodies were found in a home in the Fairview Community. Investigators now say the murders took place on May 1. Loving and 16 year old Star Grant were named as persons of interst in the case and were found last Friday morning, May 8, at Motel 6 in Gatlinburg. Both are now charged with three counts of first degree murder. The victims were Star Grant’s adopted father Travis Grant, his wife Kimberly and his mother Sharon.
Loving was extradited back to Buncombe County NC on Thursday. Grant, who also waived extradition arrived back in North Carolina earlier this week. In addition to the three counts of first degree murder, the two are also charged with conspiracy to commit murder. The TBI and the Gatlinburg Police Department assisted North Carolina authorities in their investigation.
