Two charged In Death Of Sevier County Man

Two people from Hamblen County have been charged in the death of a Sevier County man earlier this year. The Sevier County Sheriff’s office says that the two individuals have been indicted for the death of 62 year old Joe Westmoreland, who was found dead in his home on January 10. 43 year old Phillip Bishop and 40 year old Rhonda Zimmerman are charged with second degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Zimmerman was arrested in Morristown last week while Bishop was taken into custody in McMinn County. Zimmerman is being held on a $500,000 bond while Bishop’s bond was set at $1 million. They are both in the Sevier County jail awaiting arraignment. No detail about that case have been released,
