UT Basketball Men Head Into SEC Tournament With Win
The Tennessee Men’s Basketball team finished out the regular season on a high note Saturday. The Vols sent the seniors out with a victory over South Carolina, 75-65. Playing his last regular season game with Tennessee, Chaz Lanier lead the way with 23 points. Fellow senior Jordan Gainey added 10 more. The win over South Carolina gives Tennessee the number 4 seed in the SEC Tournament, which means Tennessee will not have to play until Friday afternoon. The Vols could play either Texas A&M, Vanderbilt or Texas on Friday. That game is scheduled to tip-off at 3:30pm Friday and will be televised on ESPN. As of right now, Tennessee is projected to be a number 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. What they do in the SEC Tournament could affect that seeding.
