Victims Identified In Jefferson County Plane Crash
The victims of a plane crash in Jefferson County earlier this week have now been identified. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s office says that 75 year old Allen Holman of Knoxville and 49 year old Edwin Robbins DuPont of Seymour were the two people on board when the small Beechcraft 58 airplane crashed into a field northwest of New Market Monday afternoon. The crash of the plane created a ring of fire about 30 feet in diameter around the crash.
The NTSB is cuyrrently investigating what caused the plane to crash. They should release a preliminary report in a few weeks. However, the full report on the plane crash could take two years to be released.
