Vols Move Up To #2
The Tennessee Vols domination over the Kentucky Wildcats has moved them up a notch in the national polls. The AP poll now has Tennessee ranked #2 in the nation after their 44-6 victory over Kentucky Saturday night. The Vols defense totally shut down highly rated Kentucky quarterback Will Levus. Vols wide receiver Jaylin Hyatt set a school record Saturday night with his 14th receiving touchdown of the year…that’s the most touchdown receptions in a single season in school history.
The Vols moving up in the rankings sets the stage for a huge matchup in Athens, Georgia this Saturday…#2 Tennessee against #1 Georgia. That game will be televised by CBS. Kickoff at 3:30.
