Welfare Check Leads To Arrest

Cocke County deputies were called out to a home on Friendship Road to do a welfare check on 85 year old Finley Allen. Police were met by a woman sitting on the front porch who stated that Allen was out fishing and she had permission to be on the property. That woman was 53 year old Patricia Ball. She was found to have 7 charges against her for theft over $1,000. Ball was arrested and transported to jail on those warrants.
