Lowes Victim Of Shoplifter

Lowe’s in Newport was hit by a shoplifter last week, twice…in the same day. Loss prevention at Lowe’s says an unknown white male subject walked i to the store Tuesday (8/19) around noon and pushed a Honda power inverter, worth nearly $1100 out of the store without paying. The male subject then returned around 7pm the same evening and selected other multiple items from the shelves and walked out without paying for those items as well. All total, the man got away with over $1900 in merchandise. The suspect has not yet been identified.
