Hamblen County Authorities Seize Large Amount Of Drugs In Busts Friday

Hamblen County authorities seized a substantial amount of drugs on Friday. First, deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Holdway Street. According to the Sheriff’s department, around a dozen people were in that house. Deputies seized a substantial amount of drugs from that house…including 47 grams of heroin, over 11 grams of crack cocaine, plus 7 grams of marijuana. The man arrested with the most serious charges was a man who lived in that home…Daniel Bryant, who is a convicted felon that has had drugs and money seized from him before during a raid in July of 2020. Bryant faces schedule I, II, III and VI possession with intent to sell, plus possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Also arrested at that house was a man who Hamblen County police say is a member of the Vice Lord Gang in Knox County. Michael Fanney was charged with schedule II possession for cocaine he was found with. Earlier in the day Friday, two Knoxville men were arrested during a traffic stop. Michael Robinson and Gerren Hill were in possession of heroin and fentanyl. All total on Friday, the Hamblen County Sheriff’s office took around 70 grams of heroin and fentanyl off the street…street value of the drugs seized Friday…around $25,000.
