Man With Felony Warrants To Be Extradited Back To Texas

Sunday night, Morristown police were dispatched to Crocus Court about a burglary. While in route officers were advised to be on the lookout for a blue Mazda Minivan that was involved. Police spotted that vehicle in a parking lot on Lincoln Avenue where police made contact with the suspects. A witness told officers they had watched a man exit that minivan and walk into a nearby church with services going on…the man sat down in the front row. Police approached the man who walked back out with police. That man was 44 year old Ronnie Emmerson who had an outstanding warrant in Hamblen County. However when police checked farther, it turns out Emmerson was wanted on several felony warrants in Texas. Authorities in Brazoria County Texas told Morristown police they would extradite Emerson back to Texas.
