Warrant Issued For Newport Man
A warrant has been issued for a man after he pulled a gun on another man in Parrottsville over the weekend. Seth Neas told a Cocke County deputy that he and his wife Courtney had been separated for around 6 months and she came back to the house in Parrottsville to pick up her dog. Seth Neas admitted that an argument broke out between the two and he threw dog food at his estranged wife, who left with the dog. A short time later, Neas says his wife’s brother, 31 year old Dakota Lee Presnell of Newport pulled up in his driveway, got out of his vehicle and put a semi-automatic handgun in Neas’ face. Neas says he knocked the pistol away from his face and a fight ensued between the two. Seth Neas had injuries to his face, but Presnell was gone when police arrived. A warrant has been issued for Dakota Presnell for aggravated assault.
