Man Pulls Knife On Bus Passengers

Police responded late Friday night to Cosby Hwy about an incident on a passenger bus. The driver told officers, there was a man who had barricaded himself in the busses restroom and would not come out. The driver and other passengers stated that the man had been yelling and arguing with others during the majority of the trip. In fact, witnesses told police that the man pulled a pocket knife from his person at one point, opened the blade and told another passenger “I’ll slaughter you”. The suspect finally obeyed officer’s commands and came out of the bathroom. He was identified as 45 year old Tyrone Flowers. He was wanted on a warrant out of Knox county. He was placed under arrest for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
