Another Drug Bust At Home In Cocke County

The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a home suspected for illegal drug activity. That residence belonged to Joan Ayers on Fawn Ridge Way. Assisting the sheriff’s office was the Newport Police Department, the Joint SWAT team and the ATF. Arrested at that home was 41 year old Dustin Chappell. Seized at that home was:

60 grams of methamphetamine, 8 grams of cybicillin mushrooms, 1 gram of heroin and numerous pills. Those included Morphine tablets, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Suboxone tablets and Gabapentin tablets. Police also found Chappell to be in possession of a Glock 43 handgun. He faces numerous charges. Numerous complaints had come into the sheriff’s office about drug activity at that home. The sheriff’s office posted a “Sold Out” sign at the end of the driveway to that home.
